Was an Argentine wedding a lot different from a North American wedding?
Very cute Pics!! Doesn't it get you excited!?! I don't mean to keep asking, but do we have a firm date yet? I can't book a ticket the week before. : ) Love you girl!!

ashley,
to answer your question... yeah.. they are different. Although I've only been to one, I've heard and seen lots of pictures of others. They are typically more disorganized, the decorations, in my opinion are typically a little more cheezy.... TO ME...that's entirely subjective. but here are some of the differences.
- you have a seperate civil ceremony and then a church ceremony.
- most couples sit down in chairs at some point during the ceremony.
- no bridesmaids or groomsmen.
- NO ETIQUET BOOK!!!
that's my favorite part... however it does present some difficulty...
who pays? and for what things? who does what? when? none of that is clear...but then at the same time it gives you freedom to do some things the way you want.
um....those are some of the main differences. i'm sure i'll come across more as we go through this whole process. I'll let you know though! :)
Ok it's Monday!! What's the Date? : )
well we've hit a few more bumps in the road, Kristin. You can't imagine all that is going into finding this date. you just can't.
but don't worry. you'll have plenty of time to find a ticket. Right now we're looking at 29th of june or the 6th of july...which is fall/winter here. so....i'll let you know.

Are you serious?? I don't want that to come across the wrong way. I know what it's like setting a date, and i know you have a lot more to plan around. I hoping i have a different job by then, which hopefully won't mess up my plans to come down there. I'll be praying that things get sorted out and set. I love you girl. Everything will be wonderful!!
You know anytime you feel like calling and filling me in on things I would be more than happy to talk!! : )
What different job, Kristin? Any prospective employers?
kristin.... i'm sorry to have to tell you this...but you're going to have to hold on a little longer for the date... as are we. I can't tell you the amount of faith and struggle through anxiety this subject is bring to my life. Please continue to pray for this situation. Claudio has a job interview for a job in Córdoba this friday. PLEASE pray that this job would provide the amount of money we "need" and that he would get the job.
love you! and thanks for holding on with us!
