To Him who brought you out of Egypt...

Here is a picture from our "photo shoot" with mom. She did an excellent job. More than anything looking at these pictures overwhelms my heart with thankfulness for all that God has done in my life in this past year. To many of you, I have a great debt. Many of you have spent hours in prayer for my soul, you have wept many tears for my safety, and have warred for my heart. I have an eternal debt to you. I say that not to sound poetic, but it is indeed just that, that I owe to you. The verse, "be worthy of the Gospel..." often comes to my mind. I know that the Lord has done such in a work in my life that I am not worthy of, but He has done it! And He should recieve all glory for it. Claudio is a gift beyond what I ever deserved. There have been many days that Claudio and I sit and wonder at the works of God's hand in our lives, how He brought us together, our pasts, our sins, our salvations, our families, our churches, our parents.... and we weep together at the grace of God in our lives. Recently we read in one of our young peoples meetings Psalm 136.
"to him who... brought Israel out from among them
HIS LOVE ENDURES FOREVER!.
With a mighty hand and outstretched arm
HIS LOVE ENDURES FOREVER!
to him who divided the Red Sea asunder
HIS LOVE ENDURES FOREVER!
and brought Israel through the midst of it
HIS LOVE ENDURES FOREVER!
but swept pharoah and his army into the Red Sea;
HIS LOVE ENDURES FOREVER!
to him who led his people through the desert,
HIS LOVE ENDURES FOREVER!
who struck down great kings,
HIS LOVE ENDURES FOREVER!
... to the One who remembered u sin our low estate,
HIS LOVE ENDURES FOREVER!
and freed us fromour enemies,
HIS LOVE ENDURES FOREVER,
and who gives food to every creature,
HIS LOVE ENDURES FOREVER!
GIVE THANKS TO THE GOD OF HEAVEN, HIS LOVE ENDURES FOREVER!
It's true.... we give thanks to the God of heaven because His love has endured with us!

Please be praying for this week. Our Conferencia Palabra Fiel (Faithful Word Conference) begins this Teusday. Steve Phillips one of our conference speakers, arrived this past Thursday. We have thoroughly enjoyed his visit, wisdom, and preaching and look forward to more this next week. Pray that things would go smoothly... I wake up at night with nightmares that only 5 people will come, or more people will come and half of them will be standing because we didn't rent enough chairs, or dreadful nightmares like that.... :) Please pray more than anything that the Word of God would take presedence in peoples lives and that people, including my own heart, would be radicully gripped by the Gospel and Truth.
Pray that we would have good attendance by local pastors and other believers and non-believers in the area.

well... I will leave you all to a quiet and restful Lord's day.
Grace and Peace.
Amy Elise
