well... i don´t really think that anyone cared about english... or why english is stupid... or at least it wasn´t interesting enough to comment about.... sorry.... maybe that was a little to narrow of a topic... ANYWAYS.... on with some other news....

Claudio and I celebrated our 8th month anniversery yesterday to a nice candle light chinese food dinner... chop sticks and all ... cooked by MOO- WA (sp?), and a nice cup of coffee down town. Although, it was really weird, down town closed down at like 9 last night...which isn´t tipical for Carlos Paz.... anyways... we enjoyed our coffee and 3 hour conversation we had there. :) ( Melissa R., I have to say, I thought about all our chinese dinners we had on our little table covered in our blue table cloth in our little dorm room, you teaching me how to properly use my chop sticks and talking about the asian world and staring at the big map we had on our wall.... good times huh? However i will say this dinner was much more romantic than our college dorm room dinners. :) he he...

The Conference is coming along quite well... we now have our brochure all put together and is at the printer now. We're still working on some logistics things as far as chairs, food, supplies, sound systems, etc.... but thanks to the whole crew (the molinas, dad, mom, and our new friend Zac) we're moving right along. However, I'm sure I'm not thinking of some things... if I only had Sarah Ladner here to help me and walk it all through with me! ( a picture of our brochure is at the top of this blog entry... if you will notice it is the wittenburg door that is the background of the brochure. :) )

Zac? who's Zac? He is a guy from Texas who just arrived last week to study spanish here for three months. He is living with Pablo Jorquera during his stay here with us. He's been great to jump right into the groove of things helping with conference preperations, using every word of spanish he knows (although it may not be much), and talking with everyone.
Tuesday afternoon all of us ( molina kids, Zac, and Claudio and I) got together and painted chairs and tables. It was great to hear Claudio use his english that he's been learning and Zac to use his spanish.

By the way... I have to say.... Clau is coming right along in English!!! He's doing wonderfully! Learning a second langauge at age 32 isn't easy... but he's doing remarkably! I'm VERY proud of him. It is a life time of learning, but he definantly feels more pressure for knowing more for our trip in November, but he's doing well.
Lastnight we were saying that with every North American visitor we get he seems to come along understanding more and more with each one of their visits and this time he's been able to ask questions and converse more. Big victories!

anyways... i think that is enough for now.... I would love to hear from you guys! I enjoy reading your blogs and seeing your updated lives. Keep it up.

- signing off as teacher, secretary, conference planner, girlfriend, sister, daughter, sister-in-law, aunt to the greatest little nephew in the world, Caleb Adoniram Selph.... and your friend,
Amy Elise

My Dearest Amy!!! Congratulations on 8 months. I miss you, I'm so excited, I can't believe you'll be here in a month, it seems like it's been forever. I was so disappointed when I called and you weren't home, looks like you'll just have to call me back. : ) My class is going on their first field trip on Tuesday. We're going to the ZOO!!! I think I'll acidentally just leave a few there, they would probably fit right in with the animals. : )

Love you bunches!
