Cooking!

So I´ve enjoyed trying new foods... and I think Clau has too! He's so easy to please when it comes to food. It could be soup from a can and a sandwich and he would go on about "how good it is"... and it's completely sincere.
This is a new dish... one of our newest favorites. I got it from Martha Stewart's web page. I altered the actual recipe from the original. The original is grilled tuna steaks and it's not served with rice. but this is my version.

serves 2
30 minutes preparation

Sause:
6 tablespoons white wine
1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoons Balsimic Vinigar
1/4 tsp. black pepper

1 cup rice (cook acording to directions)

sauté
1 can tuna fish
half onion

separately sauté
either asparagus or green onion
with garlic and salt

Tomatoe Mixture:
2 tomatoes
1 tablespoon oil (vegatable or olive)
1/4 tsp. black pepper (if you like it hot)
salt to taste
1/2 tsp. basil

Serve rice on plate, put a dollop of tuna and onion mixture on top of rice, pour sauce on top. Dish tomatoe mixture on the side along with asparagus or green onion.

it sounds so easy... because IT IS... but it's REALLY GOOD! try it! ENJOY!

That recipe looks delicious, Amy. It's a great contribution to the Molina Family Favorite Recipes. :) As my kids grow up, I realize that someday they will want our favorite family recipes so I've started a collection on the computer. We will try this one.

Hey Ams--
That does look really good! And tuna's one of the few fish we can afford these days/Ryan likes! So we'll try that soon. ...after next week, in which I'll be juice-fasting... :)
