Clau's First Father's Day

Papi's Day!
We enjoyed a sweet day with Clau's family. Nothing super special since Jorge hasn't been feeling well. But we had a really nice time together.
Later that evening, Jillian and I took Papi out for dinner and we came back to the house and watched a movie... of Papi's choice.

Jillian was completely facinated with all the dancing and music. She clapped the whole day long! We had a great time at Centro Crecer Church.

Ian "Gift of God"

This is a shout out for my brother Ian. I'm so proud of you Ian! You're the best little brother there is to have and you're 13 now! You've traveled the world, mastered two languages, you've managed moves all over, and you still seem to have your energy and love for friendship and your family.
Despite how much maybe some of us complain of how much energy do you have... the Donell family needed you. You were unplanned and unforseen... but God set you into our family ... and I'm SO HAPPY you were born!! and I'm SO HAPPY you are MY brother. and I'm SO HAPPY that the Lord has set HIS love in you.

First Year - October 4th, 2008

We celebrated our one year anniversary last Saturday, October the 4th.
This has been the best year of my life. Marriage is wonderful, and God is so good to have given me such a wonderful man as Claudio.

Here are some of the things I've enjoyed the most:

- laughing with Claudio late at night.
- Playing cards and yatzee after dinner (since we have no T.V.)
-Creating and decorating our home together with the personalities and tastes of both of us.
- having people into our home and hosting together.
- deciding and creating our own traditions as a family.
- having long lunches and table talk together just the two of us.

..... yeah, those are some of my favorite things that I have enjoyed so much about this last year... there are more ;)... but I simply can't mention them all
